Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica and Fivetran
- Create and optimize complex mappings, workflows, and sessions for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Responsible for production support of big data platform and on-call
- Expertise in performance tuning of real-time, near-real-time or batch data integration code
- Design responsibility for Data Lake, Master Data Management, Data Warehouse, and Distributed Master Data
- Includes implementing Data extraction, parsing, and massaging of large disparate data sets using multiple platforms and technologies to enable complex aggregations, data analytics, and visualization
- Build ELs and other high-bandwidth services to help discover problems early
- Implement data quality checks and data cleansing processes
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform data profiling and analysis to ensure data integrity and quality
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes and data flows
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues
- Optimize ETL performance and ensure scalability of data integration processes
- Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for ETL development
