Role : Electrical Product Engineer (EPE) Urgent
Location : San Jose CA Onsite
Job Overview :
The primary role of EPE is to help launch and sustain products by performing a range of factory facing NPI and sustaining tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 or more years experience in electronics industry (networking products or comparable)
- Manufacturing experience mandatory; design experience highly desirable

provide electrical product engineering support for new and sustaining productsElectrical Product Engineer provides new product and ongoing engineering (including DFM) for a specific product or group of products from preconcept commit through end of lifeFor new products you will collaborate with design (hardware) process test and reliability engineering to tackle problems and ensure cost avoidance quality and reliability at FCSFor sustaining products this individual will focus on cost reduction and design related yield improvementsengineering and influence on component selection process efficiency and design changesBOM structuring and BOM risk ManagementAssessing CM and supply chain technical capability gapsCrafting analyzing and releasing product documentationSolid understanding of PCB fabrication process and technology and endtoend process for Printed Circuit Board AssemblyUnderstanding of the entire product development processDFx (cost quality reliability manufacturability assembly etc..) knowledgeFamiliar with BOM structure and other mfg documents and can write deviations and ECOs (engineering change orders).Key Skills
