Monitor code quality, security vulnerabilities, and adherence to development standards.
Define and maintain approval workflows, role-based access controls (RBAC), and policy enforcement in Gatekeeper.
Troubleshoot Gatekeeper-related issues and coordinate with HCL support when needed.
Java & Struts Development Governance :
Review and validate Java / Struts-based applications to ensure best practices are followed.
Work with development teams to optimize, refactor, and modernize Struts applications.
Ensure compliance with MVC architecture, secure coding standards, and performance guidelines.
Security & Performance Enforcement :
Implement code scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify, Checkmarx) within the Gatekeeper workflow.
Conduct static and dynamic security testing (SAST / DAST) to detect vulnerabilities.
Ensure secure authentication, encryption, and API security in applications.
DevOps & Deployment Management :
Integrate Gatekeeper with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to automate approvals and quality checks.
Oversee code deployment processes, ensuring only verified and approved code moves to production.
Optimize performance by monitoring database queries, memory management, and application responsiveness.
