Senior Test Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA
Job type: Contract
• Hands on experience in the build and Testing of Refrigeration system
• Refrigeration system balancing and charge balancing
• In depth knowledge in the system design of refrigeration / HVAC system.
• Hands on experience in building the refrigeration system which include
o Tube bending and brazing
o Component integration
o Experience in working with Hydrocarbon refrigeration system & refrigerant.
o Compressor vacuuming charging
o Energy consumption testing at various system conditions
• Hands on experience in handling environmental chambers
• Basic hands-on skills in electrical system setup and wiring considering safety standards
• Understanding the refrigeration parameters (temperature and pressure requirements at various conditions
Test setup preparation: Preparing Thermocouple and calibration, setup of flow meters, pressure transducers as applicable
Instruments handling: Hands on experience in handling DAQ. Connections to the test setup based on the test procedure
Report creation: Gather test data, analyze test data and draw conclusions
