Job Summary
The Data Center Operations Analyst for the Client Spares Readiness team (part of Data Center Central Operations) will support data accuracy efforts for various workstreams including spare parts data governance, new zone setup, and project-based spares management. You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, managing supplier onboarding, and providing support for operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
Data Accuracy and Spare Parts Management:
- Support spare parts data governance and ensure accuracy for new zones and new product introductions (NPI).
- Manage project-based spares collection and creation of General Product Numbers (GPN).
- Resolve Purchase Issue Records (PIR) and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Resolve technical vendor issues within the procurement process.
- Ensure accurate spare parts inventory and manage supplier onboarding and support.
- Support the Data Center Bug SLO (Service Level Objective) and Fix-the-Risks projects.
- Provide weekly syncs and reports on spares data and inventory management.
- Submit a high-level monthly metrics report to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with contractors to establish inventory levels for new data center zones.
- Set up and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and part numbers for spares.
- Manage end-of-life part replacements and track product revisions in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
- Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and new part number creation.
- Provide support for operational tasks like the Fix-the-Risks program.
- Complete and improve analytics to deliver reporting for key actions.
- Strong Communication & Analytical Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and analyze data effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure data accuracy and manage complex spare parts information.
- Teamwork & Relationship-Building: Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Inventory and Vendor Management: Experience with inventory tracking and vendor relationships is a plus.
