Role : Java Production Support

Location : Houston TX (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities :

Enhance observability for Javabased applications implementing comprehensive logging tracing and monitoring solutions

Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) calls to identify failure points and recommend observability solutions

Join major incident calls guiding support teams using New Relic to pinpoint failures their locations and potential fixes

Develop custom applications (20% of role) to support observability initiatives

Create synthetic scripts using JavaScript and Node.js for proactive monitoring

Document all fixes observability enhancements and identified indicators

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement best practices in observability
