What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician (Thermal SQA Program) position at Noblesoft Technologies?
Role : Thermal SQA Program - Test Technicians
Location : San Diego , CA(Onsite) , 6 months of training in Cupertino , CA then onsite to San Diego
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing Hardware and Software
- Understanding of basic thermal measurement methodologies, e.g. thermocouple placement, acquiring readings using automated data acquisition, thermocouple rework
- Has a previous track record of conducting tests - with the ability to summarize data
- Strong drive and passion to provide accurate data with attention to detail, and ability to run sometimes very-repetitive manual test procedures
- Self-motivated and self-started with excellent time management skills, must be a great teammate
- Strong individual contributor with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic machine shop experience and use of hand tools (Dremel tools, hand drills, files, metal sheer, basic soldering skills etc.)
- Experience with Terminal and a Unix command line environment
- Some coding / scripting experience (Unix Shell or Python), and software troubleshooting and debugging skills, and Labview Experience is a plus but nice to have
- Ability to work independently using written instructions to complete tasks
- Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
