Job Description
This Investment Planning and Analysis Specialist will engage with federal employee and contractor stakeholders to provide full breadth of investment planning and analysis services in support of the sustainment and modernization of major NAS and enterprise systems. You will perform analysis of long-term business cases for modernization of communications, surveillance, navigation, and air traffic control automation systems.
- Main Responsibilities
- Support the full range of investment analysis activities, including market survey, cost analysis, benefits analysis, risk analysis, economic analysis, requirements definition, schedule development, and tradeoff studies.
- Conduct quantitative analysis using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative techniques.
- Provide cost/benefit studies, financial analysis, analysis of alternatives, return on investment, cost estimation, present value, payback period, and other analyses in support of capital planning and investment control.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Successful pass of an FAA background investigation/verification and receive a successful final suitability relevant to the FAA's Program Management Organization requirements.
- Strong understanding of capital planning and investment control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
