Responsibilities

Noblis seeks an Ethics, Risk and Compliance Specialist who will play a key role in the continued growth of the company. This position will report to the SVP, General Counsel and Ethics & Compliance Officer and will be responsible for leading and managing the organization's ethics and compliance program to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards. This role will proactively identify, and drive compliance controls including education & training initiatives and implement a risk mitigation program to align business practices and activities with the Noblis Code of Ethics and applicable government regulations and legal requirements  

This role is located at our headquarters in Reston, VA with the ability to telework as needed. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement and manage the Corporation’s Ethics, Risk, and Compliance strategy ensuring business activities comply with internal policies, applicable government regulations, and legislative requirements,  
  • Develop frameworks, policies, procedures and processes related to ethics, compliance, and risk management as needed to evaluate, manage, mitigate, monitor and report on ethics, risk and compliance matters. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal) and business partners on compliance related activities and provide oversight, direction, and support to internal teams by providing advice on the interpretation of rules and regulations, 
  • Facilitate and provide training and education to employees on ethical business conduct, compliance obligations, and corporate policies.  
  • Conduct investigations into compliance violations and ethical concerns, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate corrective actions 
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices that impact the organization and recommend appropriate policy updates.   

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 10 years of related experience in legal risk, ethics, and/or corporate compliance 
  • Previous experience in government contracting 
  • Working knowledge of the FAR, False Claims Act, Procurement Integrity Act, OCI/PCI, Anti-Bribery and Kickbacks and Revolving Door rules and regulations  
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Development of strong, trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, Pricing, and Corporate Development 
  • Ability to develop effective presentations and training materials including the ability to successfully present complex subject matter 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization 
  • Juris Doctorate

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

Posted Salary Range

USD $124,000.00 - USD $217,000.00 /Yr.
