Typical responsibilities include coordinating transportation services, such as freight forwarding, shipping, and customs clearance, negotiating contracts with carriers and suppliers to secure favorable rates and terms, and monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with service level agreements. Logistics roles also involve managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment, and implementing inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Additionally, professionals may analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement. CBA-CBC staff in logistics are responsible for overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies within organizations to support operations and production processes. They utilize their expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics to ensure the availability and efficient use of materials while minimizing costs and maximizing productivity. Typical responsibilities include forecasting and planning material requirements based on production schedules and demand forecasts, sourcing and purchasing materials from suppliers and vendors, and negotiating pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and quality standards. CBA-CBC staff in logistics roles also involve managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse and storage space, and implementing inventory management systems and processes to track and monitor material movements and usage. Additionally, they may be involved in coordinating material deliveries and shipments, managing vendor relationships, and resolving issues and discrepancies related to materials and supplies. Their expertise in areas such as procurement, warehousing, and transportation enables organizations to maintain adequate stock levels, minimize supply chain disruptions, and support efficient and effective operations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute detailed plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Provide comprehensive logistical support, including transportation, supply chain management, inventory control, and resource management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless and efficient use of resources.
- Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to support deployment operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of activities, including logs, reports, and records.
- Identify and resolve logistical challenges and issues that may arise.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to personnel to ensure readiness and effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
- Experience working in a warehouse operations or deployment coordinator role.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on deployment operations.
- Strong project management skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are preferred.
- Willingness to travel and support deployment operations in various locations, both domestic and international.
