Job Overview:
The Administrative Assistant must be detail-oriented and highly organized to provide support to our team. Responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and proficiency in office software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
- Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documents as needed.
- Assist in office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and itineraries.
- Support department staff with various administrative duties.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or office assistant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google
Workspace.
- Strong organizational, time and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
Work Environment: Indoor setting within an office environment with occasional work
within the retail and cultivation/grow facilities. Strict adherence to compliance and
security protocols is required.
Shift Work: Shifts typically range from 8 to 10 hours, with occasional additional time
required for special projects or events.
Physical Demands: Extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, occasional
lifting of up to 25 pounds, and frequent use of hands and fingers for operating office and
other equipment.
Safety and Security: Adherence to security protocols, incident reporting, and use of
personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
