The Zipline Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests using the zipline attraction. This role includes ensuring proper harnessing, explaining safety procedures, assisting riders before and after their runs, and monitoring the zipline to ensure proper function and safety. The Zipline Attendant must maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging atmosphere for all participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of zipline cables, tension lines, harnesses, lanyards, and carabiners.
- Ensure zipline cable tension is set to 750 pounds daily.
- Assist participants in properly fitting and securing harnesses.
- Clearly explain zipline rules and safety procedures to participants.
- Monitor participants during their zipline experience to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with residents and address their concerns.
- Report any equipment issues or resident concerns to the Recreation Manager promptly.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
