What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard (Seasonal) position at Nockamixon State Park Pool?
As a Seasonal Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool guests while providing excellent customer service. Reporting to the Pool Manager, your core skills in first aid, CPR, and swimming will be essential in responding to emergencies and maintaining a safe environment. Additionally, your premium skills in pool maintenance and guest services will enhance the overall experience for visitors. Your relevant abilities in pool cleaning will support the upkeep of the facility, making you a vital part of our team dedicated to safety and enjoyment.
Qualifications
- 16 years old
- Lifeguard Certification (Shallow Water)
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certified
- Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays (Memorial Day through Labor Day) Hours Range from 11:30 am - 6:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Administer first aid and CPR when required, maintaining certifications at all times.
- Perform routine pool maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Provide excellent guest services, assisting patrons with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards and enhance overall pool operations.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
