Do you have a passion for animals and the dedication to provide top-notch care? We’re looking for enthusiastic Animal Care Technicians to join our team at the Larimer Campus in Loveland, CO! Whether you’re feeding, handling, or simply providing a safe and clean environment, YOU will play a vital role in helping our furry (and not-so-furry) friends thrive.(Cats, dogs, rabbits, turtles, chickens, and more!) Hourly rate is $16.75. Closes March 12th, 2025, or when filled.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Feed animals and keep their kennels clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and yours.
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments (training provided!).
- Assist with animal handling, transport, and day-to-day shelter operations.
- Provide professional, compassionate communication with staff, volunteers, and visitors.
- Perform humane euthanasia as necessary (training and certification provided).
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum 6 months of animal care experience (beyond personal pet ownership).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
- Strong teamwork, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to become certified in animal handling, euthanasia, and vaccinations (we’ll train you!).
- A calm, compassionate approach in a fast-paced and sometimes emotional environment.
Job Details:
Location: Loveland, CO
Schedule: Full-time - includes weekends/overtime as needed.
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
