The Role
NOCO is seeking a new graduate or junior level Electrical Engineer in their Phoenix, AZ based R&D facility. Reporting to a Senior Engineer, this role is part of an R&D Engineering team working on new product development.
Summary
This position will be primarily responsible for executing design verification and qualification testing on new products, assemblies, and components. They will work closely with the design engineers to define and perform test procedures, interpret and evaluate test results, and assist with finding solutions to issues. They will also troubleshoot and debug electronics assemblies and circuit boards during development. They may also assist the Test Engineer in developing and building manual and automated test equipment and fixtures. Occasional travel to customers and suppliers is required.
Required Skills and Experience
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 0-4 years of engineering experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and systems
- Familiar with common lab equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data acquisition, etc.
- Ability to use common shop tools to assemble, fabricate, or modify prototypes or test fixtures.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
