Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator assists with human resources processes for all business locations, to include assisting with recruitment, maintaining onboarding processes, processing payroll, handling employee inquiries and effectively acting as the primary point of contact for employee-related administrative needs.
Responsibilities
· Processes a bi-weekly multi-state payroll.
· Serves as the point of contact for all payroll related questions.
· Responsible for the onboarding process for all new hires.
· Submits new-employee background checks.
· Reconciles monthly benefit invoices.
· Assists with annual benefits enrollment and answers questions regarding all benefits.
· Assists with processing of terminations.
· Assists with the preparation of the annual performance review process.
· Coordinates the hiring process with hiring managers, to include posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting reference checks, submitting background checks and handling the onboarding process for new hires.
· Prepares offer letters for new hires.
· Generates HR reports and metrics as requested.
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED is required.
· Two (2) years of human resources/payroll related experience is required.
· Two (2) years of experience with HRIS/Payroll systems is required. Experience with Paylocity, preferred.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
