Summary: Develops, implements, and consults on designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Plans, coordinates, and manages program development projects.
  • Develops project goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, and plans.
  • Analyzes each project’s decision-making issues including identification of key stakeholders.
  • Develops and implements strategies to encourage active participation and gain support from stakeholders (senior management, team members, employees, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
  • Identifies and coordinates with project committees and advisory groups to recommend program development and implementation.
  • Provides consultation and assistance on project planning, development, and implementation techniques.
  • Coordinates communications between teams.
  • Measures, evaluates, and communicates project performance.
  • Consults with and provides problem-solving assistance to team members on matters related to programs, projects, and activities.
  • Applies risk management to projects.


Education and/or Experience: We are seeking a candidate with a background in IT prior to transitioning into project management, ideally with experience in the programming space. A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred, or alternatively, one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certification(s) or other relevant credentials are a plus.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Proficient in Project Management, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Able to develop cooperative working relationships, meet deadlines, and stay current with new knowledge to enhance job performance. Aligns projects with company goals and needs.



Physical Requirements: The work environment is typical of an office setting, where the employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.


The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
