DevSecOps EngineerWork Location: Washington DC, metro area
Required: US Citizen
Mandatory Skills
5 years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles with a strong focus on cloud security.
Proficiency in AWS with experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Strong understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for developing and managing cloud resources.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including integrating security checks into pipelines.
In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001).
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.
Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
Experience in implementing and managing Zero Trust architectures.
Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
