DevSecOps Engineer
Work Location: Washington DC, metro area
Required: US Citizen
Mandatory Skills:
- 5 years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Proficiency in AWS with experience in designing and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for developing and managing cloud resources.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, including integrating security checks into pipelines.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
- Experience in implementing and managing Zero Trust architectures.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
