Senior AI/ML Researcher (Cyber Defense Focus)
Location: Remote Work
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
Role Summary:
Contribute to the development of transformer-based threat detection systems and adversarial ML defenses for Army networks. A Key architect of hierarchical reinforcement learning agents implementing Option-Critic frameworks for autonomous cyber operations. Responsible for maintaining <50ms inference times on tactical edge devices while ensuring PBFT consensus across distributed nodes.
Need to Have:
- 5 years deploying transformer architectures in resource-constrained environments
- Proven experience with Byzantine fault-tolerant RL agents (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Active publication record in IEEE S&P/USENIX-level security conferences
- Demonstrated edge deployment of ML models with <50ms inference times
Nice to Have:
- Army C5ISR program participation
- Experience with MIL-STD-882E compliance
- Certifications: AWS Machine Learning Specialty
- Familiarity with AFSIM threat modeling
Operational Impact:
Will architect AI systems detecting 6th-gen cyber threats in Army CPCE networks
