What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance / Grounds Worker position at Nodel Parks?
The Maintenance person is responsible for a wide range of maintenance activities within the community, including but not limited to:
- Walking to read water meters and distribute bills and notices
- Lawn care such as mowing, weed eating, and edging
- Ensuring the community is clean by picking up trash
- Plumbing tasks including digging, installing water/sewer lines, clearing blockages, and replacing water meters
- Upkeep and repair of machines and equipment,remodeling, washing the work truck and occasional painting
- Performing community inspections
- Maintaining exceptional curb appeal by keeping community areas and buildings clean and well-maintained, ensuring the property is free of trash and debris
- Assisting with basic repairs and general maintenance tasks
- Exhibiting an exemplary work ethic and punctuality
- Keeping a safe, organized, and sanitary workspace, including the shop, office, and all common areas
- Communicating effectively with staff and management
- Understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have prior maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up abilities, attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be reliable.
A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for work are required.
Pay Range $17.50 - $18.50 DOE
Job Type: Full-time
