Key responsibilities of an RV service technician:
- Diagnostics and Inspections:Thoroughly examine RVs to identify malfunctions, damage, or wear and tear across electrical, plumbing, gas, and chassis systems.
- Repairs and Maintenance:Perform repairs on various RV components including appliances, generators, wiring, plumbing lines, propane systems, brakes, lighting, and interior fixtures.
- Troubleshooting:Utilize diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of issues and develop repair plans.
- Component Replacement:Install new parts as needed, including batteries, tires, seals, and other worn-out components.
- Customer Interaction:Explain repairs to customers, provide estimates, and address any concerns regarding their RV.
- Documentation:Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and customer information.
