Index Media and Noisy Creek, two companies operating under one roof, are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support their dynamic teams. This shared role involves a mix of bookkeeping tasks, light office management, employee support, and occasional ad-hoc responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, can manage a variety of tasks with ease, and enjoys tackling new challenges.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive salary. The role follows a hybrid remote / in-person model, with work based out of either our Seattle or Portland office.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting operations by efficiently managing administrative tasks, including :

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and processing credit card and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
  • Tracking and recording expenses.
  • Responding to vendor inquiries & resolving billing issues.
  • Assisting with light office operations, office supplies, coordinating office-related tasks.
  • Taking on occasional ad-hoc projects.
  • Maintaining discretion and professionalism when working with sensitive company information and records.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative support .
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Mac systems, and a willingness to improve skills accordingly
  • Exceptional attention to detail , organizational skills, and adaptability.
  • Experience with bookkeeping , including accounts payable / receivable and reconciliations.
  • Experience with Paylocity payroll system a huge plus.
  • Strong communication skills .
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Additional Information This is a full-time, exempt, management position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, and we work on a hybrid remote / in-person model. Applicants should live in the Seattle or Portland metro areas, or have the ability to relocate for the job.
