Distribution Associate

Job Summary
We are in search of a Distribution Associate, someone seeking a long term career who is dedicated and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate inventory and movement of products within our warehouse environment. This position involves operating various equipment, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes to maintain seamless operations. The ideal candidate also possesses sales experience to help grow our distribution department and reach more clients in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and beyond. By helping the department grow, associate will be eligible to receive bonuses in addition to base pay.

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and forklifts to move products safely and efficiently.
• Track inventory levels and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists.
• Assist in deliveries across all of NM.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Support warehouse management system tasks, including data entry and inventory management.
• Maintain inventory digitally.
• Assist in sales to help grow the distribution department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Computer knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable.
• Must be over 21.
• Must be comfortable working around alcohol.
• Must have a professional appearance and attitude.
• Must be able to be on the company auto insurance.
• Must be comfortable driving large vehicles to complete deliveries across the state of New Mexico.
• Must be physically able lift heavy objects, load and unload trucks, sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4x10
• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
