Summary
We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Licensing Manager to join our team. This role is essential in managing all company licenses for our infant and toddler product lines. You will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality products that enhance the lives of families.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the licensing operations for a diverse portfolio of brands across licensors, including Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Universal, and others.
- Develop and execute strategic licensing plans to maximize revenue and brand impact across key properties.
- Track and analyze sales performance and earned revenue for licensors.
- Review and approve quarterly royalty reporting statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with licensing agreements.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure new licensing opportunities to expand the company portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with licensors, licensees, and retail partners.
- Work closely with the internal team to provide necessary data for forecasting, recommendations, and strategic decision-making.
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams and external licensors to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Effective Communication: Clearly and concisely convey information to team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in licensing, business development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with a track record of securing and managing successful licensing deals.
- Proficiency in royalty management, licensing agreements, and financial forecasting.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Ability to address challenges proactively and collaboratively, seeking input from others and offering solutions that benefit the team and organization.
- Being flexible and open to new ideas and approaches, ensuring that communication and collaboration remain effective in a dynamic work environment
