What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Core Domain - Solution Architect position at Nokia?
Purpose of the role
Drive Solution and Architecture within CORE domain solution authority for CNS S&C DS&C Core Domain Delivery Unit (DDU) for all Markets. Ensure first time right delivery of customer projects on Domain portfolio. Change agent to implement best practices in Service Delivery combined delivery model, drive improved deploy / Central Service Delivery practices, identify and drive serviceability / automation opportunities with equivalent P&E Units. This leader is the main interface to Domain Delivery Lead & Market Services for ensuring the solution authority of domain with right engagement of Architect & Technical management at the optimal cost are assigned to the domain projects to deliver on-cost, on-time, on-scope and on-quality.
You will be responsible and accountable for defining and enabling the optimal resources for CORE Domain Services delivery model as needed using the hosted Local / Remote resource pools with high accuracy, quality, competitiveness, and cost efficiency helping to improve profitability for the projects within the market.
Key responsibilities
- Domain solution responsibility and technical authority
- Relationship with Market Services to advocate right solution and time to time engagement with customer to understand the need and act upon with right solution
- Review and propose solutions based on specific customer requirements. Their tasks include scoping of customer unique solutions containing products and services from Nokia, third party partners as well as customer specific technologies.
- Leverage knowledge from customer specific system integrations and support design for services and take back serviceability requirements for further improvements and enhancements to be included as a part of product roadmap.
- Collect feedback for further improvement into product documentations
- Able to work collaboratively with Product line, CDS Architects and Engineers and provide support in competency development
- Suggests and supports improvements in services delivery and documentations
- Share knowledge and best practices to Delivery team. Share tools and Methodologies used for automation and reuse
- Drive synergy and best practices for DS&C Core domain DDU deliverables for all respective Markets
- Develop strategy for Knowledge capture & share and seek improvements in CoDE for his team
- Escalation management for resources capabilities and quality of deliverables
- Line management for all Domian Architects to delivery solution with first time right approach
- Deliver solution with right competence development and cost optimization
- Improve Customer Satisfaction and positivity by ensuring fulfillments of contractual commitments and minimizing quality issues for all projects
- Regularly run gap analysis to find improvement areas and implement needed changes
- Develop new deployment strategies and introduce innovation and automation initiatives
