The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a Master’s degree, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related fields or a related field with an accredited school in the US.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Work closely with our engineers, and collect data on our existing test stations
- Learn how to safely handle and measure 200mm silicon wafers
- Propose and develop new test methods for characterizing Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs)
- Implement data analysis methods
- Create visualizations and test reports
- Strong sense of self-motivation, and desire to learn
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Python Programming
- Strong command of statistics
- Optics and other relevant coursework
