SALARY RANGE: $127,787 - $200,200 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Nokia of America Corporation, Senior System Validation Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. Support Nokia's 5G solution, Next Gen Radio Access Network (RAN) & Field Test Network (FTN) team by performing end-to-end testing, system integration and verification of software in the lab and field test network. Perform customer configurations testing of Software (SW) loads prior to delivery of Software/Hardware to customer. Provide supplemental support for testing of features and knowledge transfer of learnings from early integration to relative end-to-end and other services teams. Debug Log collection and issue investigation including initial log analysis sufficient to be able to generate an associated pronto ticket for any faults discovered back into the Research & Development (R&D) teams for correction. Assist with requirement analysis and test case creation for testing of new feature functionality. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive); OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in the following:
3GPP end-to-end call flow 4G/5G; 5G / 4G end-to-end call flow testing, Hand Overs, VoLTE, VoNR end-to-end call flow, O-RAN RIC, and Cloud RAN integration; Network Side RAN log collection; Debugging tools QXDM and QCAT, XCAL, XCAT, and Wireshark; and Requirement analysis and test case creation.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 25%.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted, depending on business need.
