The team you'll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
The Special Project R&D team focuses on creating customized solutions and developing unique features on top of Nokia LTE and 5G commercial product baselines for special customer demands and business opportunities.
What you will learn and contribute to
We are looking for energized, technically competent engineers "in the making" that are excited and motivated to quickly grow, learn, and contributed in real ways to the success of our team, products, and projects.
As part of our team, you will:
- Be responsible for developing embedded software applications for the 5G GNB and LTE ENB.
- Work on prototyping, definition and analysis of requirements, high level design, low level design, modeling, unit testing and integration testing.
- Support System Verification and defect repair activities following the completion of software development activities
- Test the written code encompassing simulation test creation and optimization to verify and validate functionality and to increase the test coverage of the different modules
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Competence in coding/scripting in C, C , Phthon
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a strong desire to drive to results
- Self-motivated and proactive thinking
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- You are motivated by technical challenges, with a strong desire to deliver quality products on time
- Good written and oral communications skills with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge in real time operating systems
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Linux and linux administration
- 5G/Wireless communications
