High School Principal — Nokomis Regional High

RSU 19 is seeking a dynamic, student-focused leader to serve as the High School Principal for Nokomis Regional High. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated educator with exceptional communication skills, strong initiative, and superior interpersonal abilities. This individual will provide positive, forward-thinking leadership for both students and staff, guiding the school community toward academic excellence while fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

The Principal will oversee daily operations, lead instructional practices, and collaborate with educators, students, families, and the broader community to uphold the school’s commitment to student success and well-being. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic goals, supervising and supporting faculty and staff, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making. The role also includes responsibility for budget development and management, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support school programs, student services, and facility needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid foundation in leading a safe, structured school environment with a student-centered philosophy, as well as a commitment to school spirit and enhancing the Nokomis Warrior values. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student performance and supporting their development into productive community members. The Principal will embody collaborative, innovative, and motivational leadership practices, advocate for student and staff needs, and cultivate meaningful partnerships within the community.  Previous Principal experience is preferred.
