We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at a new restaurant in downtown LaGrange. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in various hospitality settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or fine dining establishments. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure during peak service times.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.

Pay: $12.66 - $14.46 per hour
