What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Supervisor (New Orleans, LA) position at NOLA PROTECTION?
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management and Security Officers
- Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
- Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
- Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training and complete firearms training
- Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time.
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must have a professional appearance.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Must have open availability to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- At least two years of Security and Management experience
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military Experience Required
- The Supervisor position involves visiting accounts and ensuring Security Officers are following Company policies, procedures and Post Orders
- He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor in order to maintain an efficiently run office
- Follow all Nola Protection Group, policies and procedures
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Report all violations of Company policies, procedures and Post Orders to Management
- Assist Management with writing post orders
- Train Security Officers as needed
- Visit sites and Security Officers to ensure they are following company policy, have licenses, and following Post Orders
