What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parcel Auditor position at Nolan Transportation Group?
JOB PURPOSE
The Parcel Auditor will analyze and correct parcel and regional carrier invoices for rating accuracy for assigned clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of carrier services provided, tracking, and reporting and billing methods.
- Identify opportunities for parcel cost savings.
- Utilize effective problem solving skills when verifying potential claims identified by our proprietary auditing systems.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders while building client and carrier relationships.
- Collaborate with team members with implementing new contracts and rate sheets.
- Effectively communicate information to carriers, clients and internal teams in a clear, concise and organized manner regarding rate issues, recovery details or contract updates.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize daily tasks of claims to be completed.
- Demonstrates accurate and timely updates of claims information and resolution in our proprietary systems.
- Provide insight regarding account issues with client and internal departments when necessary.
- Provide cost savings recommendations and other logistics expertise and advice to clients and or internal departments.
- Manage ticket queues for special processing needs.
