About Us:
We are expanding! We have just moved into our brand new, state of the art facility! Nolensville Veterinary Hospital has been serving the community since 1983. Currently a 3-doctor practice, we are growing our team of veterinarians as well as technicians and support staff. We offer a variety of services, digital full body & dental radiographs, orthopedic & soft tissue surgeries, ultrasound & echocardiograms, endoscopy, cold laser therapy, vaccinations, and preventative care. Our doctors believe in training, teaching, and allowing all team members to fully utilize their skills. Our team promotes a safe environment to not only ask questions but also voice your opinion. Job Responsibilities:
- Walking, feeding, and medicating any boarding or hospitalized patients in the facility.
- Monitor patient status and bring attention to doctor for unusual actions or eliminations.
- Accurately set up exam room and load patient/client into room.
- Effectively assist doctor in exam rooms utilizing proper restraint techniques.
- Monitor and collect appropriate samples as instructed by veterinarian including urine and fecal samples as needed.
- Assist with proper and safe restraint of canine and feline patients in exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Assistant technician with all medical treatments needed.
- Accurately fill medications utilizing our double check system.
- Assist technician with surgery prep, monitoring and recovery.
- Assist in the taking of x-rays using proper safety measures.
- Monitor, record, and report physical signs of hospitalized/boarded pets.
- Clean cages, runs, boarding area and/or hospital facilities, including exam rooms, treatment room, exotics and isolation area, employee lounge, bathrooms and doctor’s office.
- Maintain exam rooms, treatment, and reception area in a neat and sanitary condition.
- Provide compassionate care for all pets.
- Provide clean bedding, water and litter pans for pets.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all treatment areas, exam rooms, and reception areas.
- Restocking all hospital supplies in treatment areas and exam rooms.
- Appropriately feed, water, and exercise hospitalized/boarded pets as needed.
- Take incoming pets (drop offs and emergencies) to appropriate areas.
- Bathe pets and prepare pets for dismissal.
- Retrieve pets that are being discharged.
- Re-stock ward with food from food room.
- Bring retail food to reception area.
- Correctly do laundry.
- Wash and sanitize pet dishes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Anticipated Schedule:
- Three 10 hour days and one half day during the week
- Rotating Saturdays
- Normal business hours are M-F 7:30am – 6pm; Sa 8:00am – 12pm; Sun Closed
Compensation:
- Here at Nolensville, we don’t believe in a standard starting rate of pay, we believe that each team member should be compensated based on their knowledge, skills, and experiences.
