Nolia is an upscale restaurant and bar concept in Centennial. We have an extensive charcuterie and cheese selection, as well as from-scratch Louisiana and European dishes. Our concept is continental European tapas with a southern influence. The bar is a full bar with an exceptional wine list. We are family owned and operated. OUR CONCEPT

  • 100 item a la carte charcuterie menu. Think sushi menu, but with incredible cheeses, meats, jams, spreads, nuts, fruits, breads, crackers.
  • Tapas, small plates, and luxury scratch made recipes - Creative, very flavorful, hearty menu.
  • This simplistic menu means that team members are not dealing with hot fryer oil, cleaning stinky flat-tops, and disposing of grill ash. This concept is clean and not a smelly, greasy kitchen.
  • Small plates and family style shared plates and tapas selection encourages guests to taste many elements on the menu - rather than have a large plate of one item.
  • Full bar, extensive, esoteric wine list, happy hour every day.

OUR TEAM PHILOSOPHY

  • All of our team members are equally important to the running of the business.

  • Our team members start at $18 per hour base both in FOH & BOH, and share in the generosity of our clients equally - Gratuities are shared across the entire team, based on hours worked within the team bi-weekly. Our team typically makes between $30-36 an hour!
  • This pay philosophy fosters a team environment in which every part of the team is excited to make sure the clients have a fabulous experience, without the age-old struggle between FOH, BOH and support team. It also ensures the equality in pay that we value as a brand.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Our menu concept is scratch-made, full of flavor.
  • Our clientele is higher-end and not typically price-sensitive.
  • Average guest check expectation is $45-60 per person at dinner.
  • Our pay rate is beginning at $18 an hour for all team, and the team averages $32 an hour. Sometimes higher with special events!
  • Our shifts will begin around 11-3 (we open at 12) during the week, and we have brunch at 10am on the weekend. We close at 9 or 10 daily.
  • We do everything we can to make the job easy. Great equipment. Upgraded tools. Fancy bar dishwashers and no 3-compartment sinks. ALL the tools to make your job more efficiently accomplished so you can spend more time doing what you love, and less doing the tedious stuff that comes along with it.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • We are looking for people who are passionate about food - cooking, tapas, fabulous things like caviar and crab meat, cured meats, cheese, high-end specialty foods, wine, & cocktails.
  • We want team members who not only want to find a home with us, but they are looking to grow with us as well! This restaurant brand is a new, fresh, and growing one.
  • We want happy people that love making people happy.

You should want to cram your noggin full of cheesy & foodie details, and be able to spill that knowledge to clients that visit us.

  • We don't care if your hair is green, nor if you don't have any hair at all - but that mermaid hair should be classy looking, not look like your BFF did it in a sink with some kool-aid. Think about that high-end client buying a $300 bottle of wine -and make sure they'd be comfortable receiving it from you.
  • We don't care if you have a college degree - but we do want strong cooking restaurant experience and someone who is eager to learn what we do.
  • You should not only have experience, but passion and talent in cooking!
  • Obvi you need to be legally able to work, and be able to handle physical labor.
  • We want someone bright, with knowledge about what we do, and an awesome and curiosity-filled personality.
  • We care that you're nice... like, you have to be nice to people.
  • We care that you have a fun sense of humor.
  • You have to be rad. :)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • pass Serv-safe Training.
  • pass our internal training tests.
  • be on time to work (because it's respectful to the brand and your colleagues).
  • be passionate about food and wine and cocktails... You have to love what you do.
  • be nice & rad & respectful of teammates & clients.
  • be clean.
  • be comfortable constantly learning!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
