Floor Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced restaurant manager to join Nolita Hall!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and ensure smooth restaurant service; maintain high standards of food quality and service
• Always focus on showing a presence on the floor ensuring that during each floor shift each table is touched
• Display a “Welcome Home” mentality for guests and team members
• Lead by example and set the standard; positive and solution-based mentality
• Mentor and challenge employees to focus on development and growth; evaluate and train all Front of House employees promoting a high level of knowledge and efficiency
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, recognizing and rewarding staff member achievements, and address any conflicts or issues promptly
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed; compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism
• Work closely with upper management to drive the restaurant's success
• Think like an owner; curate the hospitality we envision

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in restaurant management
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team; foster a culture of teamwork
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive and solution based mentality
• Ability to manage a team effectively and motivate staff
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
