Responsibilities
- Teach and promote independence in daily living activities
- Support people in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age, with a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and screenings
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, with no major violations
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and effective communication.
