Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of heavy equipment to various clients, including contractors, construction companies, municipal, and industrial businesses.
Your expertise in heavy equipment sales and customer relationship management will be crucial in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of heavy equipment to potential customers.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales performance.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to strategize on business development initiatives and market penetration tactics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product advancements to effectively position our offerings in the market.
Requirements
- MINIMUM 3 years experience in heavy equipment sales or related within the heavy construction machinery.
- Strong skills in business development, lead generation, and direct sales techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct effective product demos that highlight the value of our equipment offerings.
- Experience in inside sales or cold calling is required.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team to achieve common goals and have that CLOSING skillset
