The IT Integration Lead’s role is to oversee the IT Integration team and ensure that assignments and projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner, contributing to on-time delivery to the customer. This role works with IT Engineers to ensure that all communication systems are completed to customer requirements and Nomad GCS standards. In addition, the IT Integration Lead will work as a Level 2 or Level 3 Technician 20-50% of the time.
Essential Functions / Responsibility:

- Follow the IT Integration Process to perform all tasks required to complete each project per the IT Engineer’s system design; train others to correctly perform these tasks.
- Review daily documentation updated by the IT Integration Technicians to ensure projects are up to date.
- Assign IT Integration Team Members to projects; provide guidance and leadership as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate needs and project progress with the Production department.
- Communicate with the Inventory Control clerks, requesting parts and returning unused parts as needed; maintain inventory of all IT project-related equipment in the IT area.
- Write and edit IT build documentation as necessary to guide technicians on the floor.
- Attend weekly Tier 3 Management level meetings.
- Report on CPI and Direct labor to IT Manager on a daily and weekly basis or as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by IT Engineering Manager.
Basic Knowledge Desired:
- Have excellent knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, computer hardware and software, plus applications and programming.
- Be able to document each step of a job’s process in our recording system in real-time.
- Be innovative and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision, dependable, a positive approach, and able to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities.
- Be able to perform clerical duties that require knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Outlook, etc.
- Have excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills, and oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.
- The employee must have the ability to work from heights at the ground floor up to 20 feet from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.
Working Environment:
- The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.
- The employee must have the ability to work from heights at the ground floor up to 20 feet from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.
- The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time, which will be provided.
- There is some exposure to strong odors and fumes.
- All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times in manufacturing areas. The employee will be required to wear provided safety eyewear throughout the performance of their duties.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1 year of leadership experience
- Proven track record as an IT Integration Technician or in a similar role
- Experience cabling and terminations, rack and power
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing
