The Implementation Specialist Role
The Implementation Specialist reports to Nomad’s Head of Technical Solutions. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the architecture and timely completion of all implementation projects at Nomad. As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of marketing operations platforms for our clients. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of these platforms. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks, and maintain clear and open communication channels to address challenges or issues.
\n- Managing and meeting project deadlines through task and timeline management and proactively communicating any blockers or dependencies
- Lead the implementation process of marketing operations platforms, including but not limited to marketing automation systems, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other related platforms
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, objectives, and challenges, and translate them into effective platform configurations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as account leads and other team members to ensure alignment and successful execution of implementation projects
- Conduct thorough platform configurations, customization, and integrations to meet clients' unique needs and maximize platform capabilities
- Provide training and support to clients on how to effectively use and manage marketing operations platforms, including best practices for campaign setup, data management, reporting, and optimization
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions to ensure platform stability and performance
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing operations and platform implementation to continuously enhance service offerings and deliver value to clients
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to stay informed about platform updates, new features, and enhancements, and assess their relevance and applicability to clients' needs
- Document processes, configurations, and customizations to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and facilitate efficient knowledge transfer within the team
- Participate in post-implementation retros to evaluate project success, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Proven experience in implementing and configuring marketing operations platforms, such as marketing automation systems (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and other relevant platforms
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, practices, and processes, with the ability to align platform configurations with clients' marketing objectives and strategies
- Proficiency in platform configuration, customization, and integration techniques, including scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and API integrations
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and partners/vendors
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to resolving challenges
- Certification in relevant marketing operations platforms (e.g., Marketo Certified Expert, Salesforce Administrator) is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and database management is preferred but not required

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
