What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Nurse - Cardiovascular OR $2,640/wk position at Nomad?
Weekend rotation: on call only. Will they be on call? Yes one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend. Ideally, 1-2 days/week (1500-0700); 1 weekend every 3rd Fri 1500-0700 Monday). This is subject to change as needs of the department change. Holiday Expectations: potential to work every holiday. Approval of time off? Reach out to Manager for approval. Required Experience: RN: 2 years of CVOR experience Level 1 or 2 trauma experience. Will accept a first-time traveler. Travelers must live greater than 100 miles away from facility. Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler. Patient Ratios: OR 1:1 Skills required: RN: Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties ability to work independently with minimal guidance in the following cases: CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop Bypass.
