RN Inpatient/Tele Med & Surg Internal Med Traveler. Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). Local Rule: locals are not accepted1st Time travelers accepted. Minimum experience required: Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years. This is a hard requirement. References: must have 2 professional references upon submission. Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
