What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESL Teacher position at Nomen Global - America's English Language School?
Currently looking for a teacher for evening schedule with a bachelor's degree or working toward a degree.
Part –time teachers typically teach approximately 21 hours per week.
Teaching assignments are made based on previous performance (as seen in previous employment, teacher observations, peer observations, student evaluations, participation in meetings, etc.). Part-time teachers are encouraged to put their name on the substitute teacher list if possible. Part-time teachers are expected to come to all required meetings. They are also encouraged to attend as many activities as possible to foster a feeling of unity in the school.
Pay Varies based on experience and education level.
Job Duties:
-Be willing to teach assigned schedule
-Arrive and depart 15 minutes before and after class
-Attend faculty meeting each month
-Complete the required Teacher Training course
-Teach classes
-Accurately take attendance (including tardies)
-Complete grades
-Successfully manage classrooms
-Begin and end classes on time, and keep breaks to an appropriate length.
-Enforce all classroom rules and ethics
-Refer students to student services when appropriate
-Fill out all necessary paperwork and forms
-Mentor students as required
-Conduct S.E.P. with assigned students each semester.
-Complete a professional development project each semster
