Nomis Seismographs, a leading manufacturer of seismograph equipment, is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team.
Under general supervision, as an Electronics Technician, you will be essential in performing skilled testing, diagnosis, calibration, repair, and manufacture of seismographs. Reporting to Manufacturing and Service Manager, your core skills in schematics and equipment repair will be vital in diagnosing issues and executing repairs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture and calibrate new seismographs
- Repair, replace, or modify electronic components and defective parts
- Assist in maintaining parts inventory and computer inventory records
- Prepare written reports, document defects and repairs on inspection forms, work orders, or designated computer programs
- Troubleshoot problems with electronic components and sub-systems
- Operate computer for related data input and retrieval
- Perform quality control
- Perform related work as required
Qualifications

- Ability to recognize system components from typical design schematics
