The Challenge (Job Summary)
The CBO Epic Certified Analyst will be responsible for developing and optimizing reimbursement contract build as well as all other parts of PB build impacting the Central Billing Office. This role requires close collaboration with IT analysts and CBO managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Epic build processes, and an ability to communicate technical details effectively with both IT and operational stakeholders.
Your Day to Day & Essential Functions:
- You’ll lead and execute reimbursement contract build activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and reimbursement policies.
- You’ll attend meetings with managers, team leads, and other relevant departments to provide insights and recommendations for build changes and enhancements.
- You’ll work closely with other IT analysts to coordinate and align build efforts across teams, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system configuration.
- You’ll maintain thorough documentation of build activities, updates, and modifications to support ongoing monitoring and compliance.
- You’ll perform testing and validation for contract builds to ensure accuracy and functionality, addressing any identified issues before implementation.
- You’ll provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for reimbursement build issues, collaborating with IT and operational teams as needed.
- You’ll offer guidance and training to other team members on Epic contract build processes and system updates.
What You Need to Succeed (Competencies and Education):
- Knowledge of NOMS policies and procedures
- 8 years of Epic experience (required)
- Verifiable ability to input data into computer system with reasonable speed and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and process work efficiently.
- Knowledge of computer programs and applications
- Ability to work under stress with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to independently assume other responsibilities in addition to routine duties.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Education and Work Experience:
- Epic certification: Professional Billing
- Experience with reimbursement contract builds within Epic
