Drivers Wanted (NEMT) - Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to designated locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Experience in various driving capacities such as shuttle driving, commercial driving, or school bus driving is highly desirable.

Duties

• Safely operate vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required drug screenings.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
