Status: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility, occasional evenings required)
Salary: $62,000 - $68,000
Job Overview
A dedicated and compassionate Social Worker/Counselor is needed to provide case management, therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy for women, including mothers, reintegrating into the community post-incarceration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive individual case management, including intake, assessment, service planning, progress reviews, and discharge planning.
- Offer one-on-one and group counseling to residents in transitional housing.
- Facilitate trauma-informed and gender-responsive group programs.
- Utilize structured curricula such as Seeking Safety, Beyond Anger and Violence, Circle of Safety, Parenting Journey, and Beyond Trauma.
- Coordinate with child and adolescent therapists to support family reunification.
- Lead mediation sessions, case conferences, and house meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate case records, including progress notes, clinical assessments, and legal reports.
Qualifications
- LMSW or LMHC certification required.
- 2-3 years of experience working with high-risk populations and individuals affected by complex trauma.
- Capable of working both independently and within a team setting.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Preferred Skills
- Training in trauma-informed care and person-centered case planning.
- Experience working with justice-involved individuals and their families.
- Familiarity with public assistance programs, substance abuse treatment, and supportive housing systems.
