Job Title : Social Worker / Counselor
Status : Full-time
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (some flexibility, occasional evenings required)
Salary : $62,000 - $68,000
Job Overview
A dedicated and compassionate Social Worker / Counselor is needed to provide case management, therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy for women, including mothers, reintegrating into the community post-incarceration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive individual case management, including intake, assessment, service planning, progress reviews, and discharge planning.
- Offer one-on-one and group counseling to residents in transitional housing.
- Facilitate trauma-informed and gender-responsive group programs.
- Utilize structured curricula such as Seeking Safety, Beyond Anger and Violence, Circle of Safety, Parenting Journey, and Beyond Trauma.
- Coordinate with child and adolescent therapists to support family reunification.
- Lead mediation sessions, case conferences, and house meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate case records, including progress notes, clinical assessments, and legal reports.
