Clinical Laboratory Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests, analyze samples, and deliver critical data to support accurate clinical decisions. You will work with sensitive equipment and potentially hazardous materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety and precision.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive, label, and process biological and toxicology samples (blood, tissue, etc.).
- Perform laboratory tests according to established protocols and interpret results accurately.
- Conduct experiments to support research and clinical hypotheses using advanced scientific methods.
- Maintain organized storage of chemicals, fluids, and gases in compliance with safety regulations.
- Record and manage data meticulously using both paper and electronic systems.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; assist with inventory management.
- Uphold all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized laboratory environment.
What You Bring:
- Valid Florida Department of Health Technologist license with specialties in Microbiology, Chemistry, and Molecular.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the above specialties.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and hazardous substances (e.g., biohazards, flammable liquids).
- Strong understanding of QHSE systems, preventative measures, and lab best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and lab information systems.
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a demanding lab environment.
