Male Companion Needed for 42-Year-Old with Cognitive Challenges/ Springboro, Ohio
Seeking a compassionate, friendly, and engaging companion (age appropriate) for my son, who lives in assisted living but often feels isolated. The ideal companion would help brighten his days by sharing common interests and encouraging social activities.
Responsibilities:
Spend time with him engaging in activities such as:
- Playing video games
- Going to parks or outdoor venues
- Visiting the gym (if interested)
- Exploring new hobbies or outings
- Assisting with occasional small tasks, including:
- Grocery shopping
Transporting him to appointments
- Helping with minor everyday challenges (e.g., finding misplaced items, navigating phone apps)
Requirements:
- Must have own transportation
- Should be patient, friendly, and encouraging
- Must respect his low-carb diet due to Type 1 diabetes
( Experience supporting individuals with memory or cognitive challenges is a plus)
$ 20.00 /hour. About 4- 5 hours /wk= $80-$100 week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.86 - $15.59 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
